For Grandma
Megan Woods, aged 13, and her cousin Sienna Seddon, aged 8, held a Cupcake Break in memory of the grandmother they never met. Dorothy Woods died of ovarian cancer in 1991, aged 52. ‘My gran was a really good baker,’ says Megan. ‘I never met her, so I thought it would be a nice thing to do for her and raise money for Ovarian Cancer Action as well.’ The girls spent their Saturday baking, and then sold cupcakes and other items on Sunday to raise more than £200.
